Our client is a leading oil and gas company established in 1974 in Malaysia. It is ranked among the Fortune Global 500’s largest companies in the world and is in the 48th position globally in the 2020 Bentley Infrastructure 500.


In today’s case study, get insights on how MindScroll LMS helped our client effectively train 3500 users comprising contractors and non-staff members online. The Big Challenge Faced


• The client had contractors (non-staff) and external individuals who were not getting the required training and assessment leading to their performance being impacted which had a cascading impact on their top line


• Integration with the client’s existing HCM system, Upstream Electronic Permit-to-Work (ePTW) system, and system implementation within the existing ICT system along with the development of integration API were necessary for the LMS to function well


• The entire project had to be delivered in a short span of just 4 weeks


• The Learning & Development Modules/eLearning & e-Assessment platform had to be made for 3500 monthly active users 


• The ability to support e-assessment builder and question bank with multiple question types and question randomization were required


• Tracking of learning completion along with the certificate and serial number generation were capabilities needed in the LMS


• Customizable portal, course catalog, and native mobile applications enabled with offline mode were needed 


• The ability to generate predefined standard reports was an essential requirement


• A web-based system that can be accessed globally including remote locations/countries with the ability to use MS Teams web conferencing and Office 365 was essential


• The ability to control the data access to data based on user id, roles, and level of authorization in a specific site/region was crucial


• The user interface of the system was needed to be user-friendly, intuitive, and easy to navigate


• The system administrator had to be able to create new users and grant access independently along with full authority over all content and be able to create, edit and delete data based on predefined templates
